About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Systems Consultant
In this role, you will:
Evaluate moderately complex business problems and provide technical assistance in identifying automated systems and related procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
Review and evaluate moderately complex technical business problems that can be resolved through internet or intranet based solutions
Present recommendations for resolving business problems
Exercise some independent judgment when developing project budgets, project plans, and schedules
Provide information about communication between business and technology teams
Work with business user groups to provide training, handle questions, observe user needs, and document results
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
2+ year of financial services experience (Capital Markets, Wealth and Investment Management, Banking, Mortgage, Insurance); prior consulting experience is a plus
Relevant industry certification such as, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, ITIL, ISTQB, PMP or other specialized IT certifications
Job Expectations:
Experience in Business Systems Data, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
Proficient in data manipulation and working with databases
Thought leadership in the field of Quality Assurance and Test Automation
Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and technologies
A “go-getter” attitude, passion to constantly improve and perform at the highest level
Planning, implementing and quality assurance for large testing projects to include test automation, test data management/analytics and innovative uses of technology or data analytics to enhance testing efficiency.
Training team members with a goal of fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment
Experience in testing domain
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related field and relevant work experience
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in diverse environments
At least 2year experience in leading technical teams such as test automation or performance engineering teams
At least 2 years of experience in strategy and planning of technical testing
Working knowledge of Java or Python – enough to perform code reviews, provide code refactoring recommendations
Hands on experience in:
Automation strategy, framework implementation, planning, scripting and execution
Automation framework (data driven, hybrid and behavior driven development concepts), design and enhancements
Cucumber/BDD – based frameworks
Selenium with Java – Junit/TestNG framework in Eclipse IDE
HP UFT
Version control repo like GITHUB and SVN
Test scheduling and execution on Jenkins, etc.
HP-QC/ALM, TFS, JIRA or a relevant defect management tools
