Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Services Director to lead the Analytics & Insights function within the Technology Analytics organization in Technology Management & Strategy. This leader will play a pivotal role in a new operating model that will enable operational excellence in managing the business of Technology with an insight-driven approach and robust data environment.
This role is accountable for delivering contextual and actionable intelligence that drives business outcomes and aligns leadership priorities. Core responsibilities include ownership of all communications to the user community, managing intake processes, serving as the primary liaison to Technology Analytics Product delivery teams, optimizing workflow efficiency, and embedding analytics into strategic decision-making to deepen executive engagement and ensure insights remain aligned with leadership priorities.
This position will require data fluency and the ability to encompass the practical application and storytelling aspects of data within an organizational construct. This leader will operate across the full analytics spectrum: Descriptive- Deliver clear, accurate reporting on what has happened, Diagnostic- Uncover root causes and drivers behind performance trends, Predictive- Forecast future outcomes using advanced analytics and modeling, Prescriptive- Recommend strategic actions based on data-driven insights.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a highly specialized Technology Business Services team and managers with focus on delivering moderate to high complexity service for cross functional stakeholders and internal partners associated with the functional area or who are affected by its outcomes
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development by utilizing research and data in addition to in depth understanding of organizational goals, priorities, and technology while developing executable strategies and plans
- Lead Technology Business Services team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet high risk deliverables
- Interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for technology business functions with moderate to high level of complexity and risk
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including technology industry leaders, financial industry leaders, analysts, and regulators, as well as interact directly with more experienced leadership and executive management
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Business Services
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- 8+ years of Technology Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- 4+ years of experience with technology business management acumen with advanced data expertise
- Proven track record of leading large-scale analytics transformation initiatives within a complex, matrixed organization
- Experience with AI to generate reports, analyze data trends or summarize business insights
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot) with proven experience supporting modernizing reporting ecosystems and influencing designs for scalable data architecture
- Strong experience in executive-level stakeholder engagement, including presenting insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into data-driven solutions, with measurable impact on performance and planning
- Proficiency in data governance, quality management, and automation, including tools such as Alteryx, Informatica, or similar
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, including analytics, engineering, and business operations
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience driving iterative improvements in analytics delivery
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align analytics initiatives to enterprise goals and financial outcomes
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling performance narratives for executive audiences
- Experience in talent strategy execution, including workforce planning, upskilling programs, and team development
- Ability to work additional hours as needed

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
