Technology Analyst Program - Data Science
Fiserv’s Corporate Analyst Program is an early career development program where candidates experience two structured assignments within one specific track over a 2 - 2.5 year time period. Each assignment builds upon the other and together will provide a breadth of experience within Financial Tech and unique to you!
What does a successful Technology Analyst do at Fiserv?
You will be a part of Merchant Solutions – Fraud & Credit Risk, Decision Science & Risk Solutions team, responsible for developing and deploying predictive ML models/rules in the form of automated risk controls that help in reducing fraud and credit risk losses as well as enabling top line growth and improving merchant experience. As a part of the team, you will be using internal and external data assets to generate insightful analytics, build AI/ML based models/rules, create data driven capabilities/solutions to manage risk and identify new areas of opportunity. Key functions supported by the team include New Merchant Onboarding & Underwriting, Existing Merchant Risk Monitoring, Cash Advance/Lending Products, and other/commercial Risk Solutions. This position will be a critical interface with stakeholders within and outside Fiserv in building best-in-class analytical solutions.

What you will do:

Design and implement predictive models

Track and monitor model performance and provide analytical support

Conduct complex analysis using statistical and other industry leading quantitative techniques

Evaluate and integrate data from internal and external sources to support modeling, analytics, and reporting

Partner with business and technical SMEs to understand relevant data

Develop documentation to support internal and external stakeholder requirements

Support Cross-Functional Efforts
What you need to have:

Recent graduates (December 2023 through December 2024) of a bachelor’s degree or military equivalent (3.0 + GPA)

Demonstrated analytical capabilities

Proficient in SQL/SAS/Python, Excel or other analytical tools / open-source programming languages

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
