Responsibilities and key activities
- Work closely with the product owner and other team members to clarify proposed changes to IT products and/or platform from a technical point of view.
- Responsible for bringing the technical point of view, during backlog refinement and prioritization, including for example scoping the technical changes, estimating their complexity and efforts.
- Accountable and responsible for the integrity and quality of the technical design of the IT product and/or platform through its lifecycle. Create fit-for-purpose and fit-for-use technical designs to implement the prioritized backlog items, Accountable for ensuring non-functional requirements are addressed in the technical design.
- Responsible for making sure the technical design continues to be in alignment with applicable quality and compliance standards (e.g., cybersecurity and data models and standards), and is aligned with IT Product and/or platform roadmap.
- Responsible for keeping the complexity of technical designs low, by for example, minimizing custom implementations and actively promoting out of the box functionality where applicable.
- Responsible for ensuring that technical dependencies between the IT products and/or platforms are planned and implemented in accordance with agreed architecture guidelines.
- Accountable & Responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving technical changes Provide required technical guidance to the team members.
- Play an active role in ensuring that applicable Flow IT processes are followed within the teams. (e.g., Develop & Release, Govern Architecture, Govern Quality)
Professional requirements
- Functional and architectural understanding of IT products and related technologies
- Deep experience in the relevant IT product technologies and modules.
- Experience with DevOps ways of working including technical practices such as CI/CD, Release governance, monitoring techniques.
- Familiarity with modern technologies, design and development tools and automation techniques.
- Experience with data standards and modelling.
- Lean and agile ways of working.
- Familiarity with IT product management practices
- Communication and networking skills in a global environment.
- Educational qualifications (e.g., BE, BTech, MCA etc.).
- At least 7-8 years of experience in developing and/or supporting IT solutions and/or platforms, preferably on the relevant technology area.
- Demonstrated experience of working in global context.
