Role Overview
We are seeking a Techno-Functional Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Finance and Legal to support enterprise integration and automation initiatives by translating complex business processes into clear, structured, and implementation-ready requirements. This role operates at the intersection of business process design and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document integration requirements

- Create user stories and acceptance criteria
- Analyze data flows and mappings

Requirements
- Finance Operations: Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and General Ledger (GL) structures. Familiarity with ERPs like NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or SAP.
- Legal Tech: Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools (e.g., Ironclad, LinkSquares) and the automation of NDA or MSA workflows.
- Compliance & Governance: Understanding of SOX compliance, GDPR, and data privacy requirements as they relate to moving sensitive financial and legal data across systems.
- iPaaS & Integration: 3+ years of hands-on experience building, debugging, and maintaining complex workflows in N8N, Workato, or Zapier. Must understand Webhooks, REST APIs, and JSON data structures.
- Data Mapping & SQL: Proficiency in SQL for data validation and experience mapping complex data schemas between disparate systems (e.g., syncing an ERP with a CLM).
- Scripting: Ability to write basic JavaScript or Python snippets to handle data transformations that standard "no-code" nodes cannot process.
- System Architecture: Solid understanding of OAuth2 authentication, API rate limiting, and error-handling strategies (retries, DLQs) in a production environment.
Analytical & Soft Skills - Process Architecture: Ability to transform a messy "whiteboard" discussion into a clean Lucid chart or Miro process map that identifies every edge case.
- Requirement Translation: Proven track record of writing high-quality User Stories and Acceptance Criteria that developers can execute without constant back-and-forth.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience "speaking human" to CFOs/General Counsels and "speaking tech" to Engineers.
Recommended "Preferred" Qualifications
- N8N Certification or a portfolio of public/private workflow templates.
- Experience with Git-based version control for managing automation code/exports.
- Previous experience in a FinTech or highly regulated SaaS environment.
Skills Required
