We are looking for YOU as Technical Project Leader (m/f/d) for our location in Bietigheim.

A Technical Project Leader at Valeo is a role that combines technical expertise with project management skills, guiding teams through the lifecycle of technical projects. This role involves leading and coordinating teams, developing project plans, managing resources, and ensuring projects meet requirements and timelines. 

These challenges await you:

• Guiding and supervising international teams of engineers or developers throughout the project lifecycle

• Developing project plans, defining scope, and ensuring projects are executed according to plan

• Managing R&D resources, including personnel, hours budget, and equipment, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively

• Possessing a strong understanding of technical concepts and methodologies relevant to the projects they lead

• Communicating with stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and senior management, to ensure alignment and address any concerns

• Ensuring that projects meet the required quality standards and customer expectations

• Identifying and resolving technical and logistical challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle

You inspire us with that:

• Completed university of applied sciences degree in electronics, mechatronics or mechanical engineering

• Strong technical background and knowledge of relevant technologies (​Embedded software development, Automotive hardware development, Mechatronic systems, hydraulic systems (optional))

• Competence in requirements analysis and architecture design.

• Comprehensive understanding of development processes (e.g. ASPICE, ISO26262)

• Proven project management experience, including planning, execution, and resource management (at least 3 years)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluent in spoken and written English and German

• Ability to lead and motivate teams

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
