POSITION SUMMARY:
For our Technical Department, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician with a strong mechanical foundation and knowledge of process technology. In this role, you will help maintain, improve, and optimize our automated production installations.
You will work in a professional technical environment alongside colleagues from different disciplines and actively contribute to safe, reliable, and efficient production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, pumps, and pneumatic systems.
- Locate, analyze, and resolve malfunctions in technical installations.
- Supervise external technicians and suppliers during maintenance activities.
- Record completed work and maintenance reports in MS Office.
- Provide support with work preparation and inventory management of technical parts.
- Contribute ideas to improvement projects for the reliability and efficiency of installations.
- MBO level 3 or 4 in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in an industrial environment (preferably in the process industry or manufacturing).
- Knowledge of and experience with motors, pumps, and pneumatics.
- Fault analysis and troubleshooting in automated systems.
- Basic knowledge of PC applications (MS Office) for reporting and work preparation.
- Experience with warehouse management and/or spare parts purchasing is a plus.
