We are looking for a Technical Writing Team Lead to manage and develop our growing team of technical writers within the Product Team at Silverfort. In this role, you will drive documentation strategy, optimize content creation processes, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality product documentation. You will also play a key role in coaching and developing the team’s technical writing skills to enhance clarity, consistency, and impact.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement scalable documentation processes that ensure efficiency, consistency, and alignment with product development cycles
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Establish and track key performance metrics for documentation quality, coverage, and efficiency
- Establish clear prioritization frameworks for documentation requests and ensure alignment with company goals
- Mentor and develop a team of technical writers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
- Provide constructive feedback on writing quality, structure, and clarity, helping writers refine their skills
- Identify training opportunities and resources to upskill the team in areas such as technical accuracy, UX writing, API documentation, and structured authoring
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role and managing a team
- Proven experience managing documentation projects and a strong ability to establish and optimize content workflows and documentation processes
- Experience with structured authoring, content management systems (CMS), and documentation and project management tools (e.g., Doc360, Jira, Paligo, Confluence, GitHub, or similar)
- Cybersecurity/Identity experience is a plus
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with engineers, product managers, and customer-facing teams
