About the Role

We’re looking for a precise, tech-savvy Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality documentation that empowers our users to navigate YuJa’s evolving product suite. You will bridge the gap between complex engineering developments and user-facing clarity, producing everything from comprehensive Zendesk help guides to real-time admin alerts and product notifications. Working at the intersection of engineering, UX design, and client success, you will ensure our documentation is not only accurate and comprehensive but also aligns with our brand voice and enhances the overall user experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Create documentation for new features and releases using Zendesk, ensuring that all information is accurate, comprehensive, and user-friendly.
  • Update and revise old guides to reflect the latest features and improvements, ensuring consistency in style and accuracy.
  • Develop admin alerts to institutions, keeping them informed about new features and updates in each release.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to assist with text mockups and designs, ensuring clarity and user-friendliness.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure product tickets contain meaningful and clear information.
  • Communicate with clients about their feature requests or bug fixes through personalized customer notifications.
  • Preferred: Have a basic understanding of UX Writing to ensure that all user-facing content enhances the user experience and aligns with design principles.

About You

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience as a Technical Writer.
  • Experience working with strict deadlines for new releases and managing documentation for multiple products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to understand and maintain the company’s tone and voice across all written materials.
  • Must have a strong oral and exceptional written command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and sentence composition.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and apply technical concepts to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Ability to accept and deal constructively with feedback, making revisions as necessary while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time on multiple simultaneous projects and work independently.
  • Working knowledge of Zendesk is required.
  • Knowledge of Confluence and WordPress would be an asset.
  • A degree in English Language, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field would be an asset.

Schedule

This is an office-based role with standard hours from Monday to Friday.
