Role Overview:

The Technical Writer delivers high-quality written deliverables under tight deadlines in a fast-moving software development environment.

At Skyhigh Security, our Technical Writers are tasked with providing Help content that drives adoption and customer loyalty as we help our users learn how to use our products. Attention to detail is a must, making sure that content is clear and accurate, while conveying the proper voice while adhering to our style guide. Part of this role is constantly advocating for our customers, finding the seams in customer experience before our users do. An ideal candidate is a highly organized person who enjoys cross-functional work that can stretch across time zones.
To thrive in our group, be comfortable with interacting with people, and understand the importance of building relationships. Given our international workforce, be prepared to enjoy the broad spectrum of colleagues, and be open to learning more about those who have differing opinions.
Key Qualifications :

• Minimum of three years technical writing 
• Demonstrated ability to write well-crafted, easy-to-consume documentation 
• Experience writing release notes or similar documents for a fast-paced development environment
• Copy editing experience (or a desire to expand your skills in this area)
• Experience with JIRA or similar project-management tools
• Knack for identifying the key objectives of task-oriented content
• Excellent communication skills and writing capabilities
