ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Documentation Team supports the development teams and follows the Agile methodology to deliver high-level documentation for our software.
Your primary mission is to contribute to and help maintain the end-user, developer, and API documentation and UX copy. You will write new content to keep up with the product's evolution and optimize existing content to make it more readable and efficient to maintain. You will also be able to shape how we manage technical documentation in the company.
ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:
- Work with various teams to document newly released product features and address product documentation gaps.
- Write API documentation using OpenAPI Specification (OAS) and developer documentation using Markdown and Docusaurus.
- Provide support to Product Designers with UX copy.
- Review content created by other technical writers, and have them review your content.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Superb writing skills in English.
- Strong ability to interact with various stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a technical writer role for at least 2+ years.
- Well-rounded experience writing customer-facing documentation. Developer and API documentation are a plus.
- Excellent understanding of some technical writing approaches, such as minimalism, docs-as-code, topic-oriented writing, and user-centric thinking.
- Familiarity or professional experience with our tool stack or similar, for example, Github, Visual Studio Code, Docusaurus, Markdown, Redocly, Postman, and Figma.
- Write with empathy and demonstrate proactivity in anticipating end-user questions.
