The Opportunity:
At CACI, we provide expertise and technology to support mission-critical operations for our federal government partners. Our work with the Military Sealift Command (MSC) Integrated Business Systems ensures the readiness and efficiency of essential logistics systems, directly contributing to national defense efforts.

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Technical Writer to support the MSC Integrated Business Systems program. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in Quality Assurance and experience with Agile development methodologies. This role involves creating and managing high-quality technical documentation that aligns with MSC's operational needs and Agile processes.
Responsibilities:

• Develop, revise, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system manuals, operational procedures, and project reports.
• Collaborate with Agile development teams to document user stories, functional requirements, and system updates in a clear and concise manner.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of documentation through rigorous Quality Assurance processes.
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather technical details, ensuring documentation meets operational and end-user requirements.
• Manage version control of documentation and maintain an organized repository for easy access and updates.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for documentation standards and workflows.

Qualifications:
Required: 

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a government or defense-related environment.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and Agile development principles.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in an understandable manner.
• Proficiency in documentation tools such as MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, or specialized software (e.g., MadCap Flare, Confluence).
• Familiarity with MSC operations and integrated business systems is an advantage.
• Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is strongly preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$51,800-$106,200
