The Technical Writer is the critical link between training organization and workforce in local and global process standardization.
Participates actively in the steps of the training process to achieve people development.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ambassador for Training and Process standardization and understanding in The Lego Group, supports training process and projects focused in safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost.
- Administrate Standard Work documentation, which includes creation, edition, translation, upload and sharing local and global documentation.
- Close cooperation with process owners and Global Job Trainers.
- Collaborate with other team members to support team´s goals.
- Participate in improvement projects (RIEs, PPS, Focus Board, etc).
- Support Training Process activities such as training plans, skill matrix and follow up to execution and coordinate special area activities.
- Global alignment and collaboration between sites.
- Implement projects to support productivity and stakeholder needs.
- Use of the company platforms for documents administration.
- Documentation management (Global and Local)
- Training Process Support (Analysis, KPIs, huddle, plans)
- Participate in projects for new processes
- LCI Coordination (5s, ideas, process confirmation)
- Global Standard Benchmark
- Informal leadership
- Engagement in Audit Processes

Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree in Language Sciences or Applied Linguistics.
- Industrial Engineering.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Communication skills.
- Engaged to collaboration with colleagues.
- Results oriented, strives to deliver consistently.
- Advanced English language written and speaking. (for translation and edition of documents. Written and Conversational.)
- Experience working with Power BI and / or Power Apps.
- Knowledge of training process.
- Seeks on new insights and ideas based on immediate opportunities.
- Understands customer needs.
- Able to learn and apply functional knowledge in training and operations.
- Analytical thinking.
- Process specialization.
Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position
