Job Description
About the team:
We maintain customer documentation for our APIs, services, and solutions and keep it up to date along with internal knowledge base. We are continuously optimizing our work, and our team invents various solutions to achieve this. Documentation as a code, Confluence/Zendesk, mutual integrations, automatic generation of documentation - all of this allows us to effectively provide detailed information about our services.
Major challenges:
- In the world of Fintech you will be facing two areas at once - IT and finance. You will need to get acquainted with all the nuances, specifics and pitfalls to prove yourself as an expert.
- We care about customers experience and strive to provide the highest level of service. That’s why one of the top tasks is to create and maintain a powerful knowledge base for our teams and clients.
We expect the Technical Writer to:
- Revise and enhance existing documentation in our Knowledge Base and internal guidebook,
- Develop new instructions and documents by gathering information from developers,
- Review and refine documents supplied by developers and support teams,
- Monitor updates in trading venue protocols and inform the relevant teams,
- Offer technical insights for the marketing team,
- Produce written content and materials in English.
Qualifications
Must-have skills:
- Excellent written skills in English,
- Demonstrated knowledge of technical-writing specifics (punctuation, formatting, stylistic and political correctness, etc.),
- Structural approach,
- Willingness to take responsibility, result-oriented mindset,
- Keen eye for details,
- Well-developed soft skills and ability to work in a team.
Nice-to-have skills:
- One-year experience in the IT industry in a similar position,
- Knowledge of finance basics.
