About the position

As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our advanced technology and our users and partners. You will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that empowers our customers and supports our products. Join us in crafting informative guidance whether it is for our sales department, implementation, integration, or training purposes. Your work will ensure that our technology is accessible and understandable for everyone.

The position is based in Stockholm office, follows hybrid work model with excellent flexible working practices. Applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Product Documentation: Develop comprehensive, accurate, and engaging documentation for our products, including how-to guides, technical specifications, and installation instructions. 
  • Gather and analyze Information: Gather and analyze technical information from various sources and stakeholders to document new or improved product functionality. 
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineers, product managers, technical writers, product marketing, and others, to coordinate product documentation over multiple parallel projects and teams.   
  • Simplify Complex Concepts: Translate technical jargon into clear, easy-to-understand language that resonates with our diverse audience. 
  • Ensure Consistency and Quality: Maintain a consistent voice and style across all documentation, adhering to company guidelines and industry best practices. 
  • Assist in Planning and Scheduling: Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables. 
  • Take Ownership: Be the point of contact for all documentation projects, ensuring timely delivery and high quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to enhancing documentation processes, standards, and methodologies, aiming for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Superior command of the English language, with clear, concise, and engaging writing. 
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Preferably from container solutions and Kubernetes. 
  • Eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all documentation. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with diverse groups of stakeholders. 
  • Proven ability to take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality results on time. 
  • Work proactively and courageously, taking initiative to identify documentation needs and tackle challenges head-on. 
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development processes. 
  • Previous experience in technical writing or a related field is required.
  • Degree in Computer Science or another relevant technical subject would be preferred. 
  • Experience in IT security, PKI and open-source software concepts is highly desirable.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
