Technical Writer for Financial Technology (Linux, remote, part-time)
Your role will include writing:
- Developer’s guide for APIs
- Operating guides for integration teams
- User guides for the application
Desired Skills & Experience:
- At least 3+ years of experience as a technical writer in the software domain
- Experience with writing specs / API
- Experience with documenting code libraries (less GUI)
- Experience with communicating with software teams and identifying items -requiring documentation
- Experience in QA and release management
- Perfect English
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking
Advantage:
- Financial knowledge, specifically Forex, fwds, ndfs etc.
- Experience with Google Docs
- Basic knowledge of Linux environment
Terms of cooperation:
- Part-time (probably by hour, or maybe 1-1.5 days a week)
- Able to work from home, as an independent contractor (FOP)
