Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality technical content, including user manuals, online help guides, API documentation, and training materials.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, FAQs, and API documentation.
  • Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to gather and understand technical information.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand documentation for various audiences.
  • Edit, standardize, and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Organize and structure documentation for maximum usability and accessibility.
  • Utilize various tools and platforms to create and manage documentation (Content Management Software like Madcap Flare or other equivalent Software).
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve documentation quality continuously.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is updated in line with product releases.
  • Maintain a documentation repository and ensure version control.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent writing and grammatical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.
  • Ability to edit and proofread the work of colleagues.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages or software development processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AI and other Tools to assist with content generation.
  • Self-starter mentality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration with multiple teams across different time zones.

 

Education and Experience:

Three years of related experience required
