Technical Writer (m/f/d)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality technical content, including user manuals, online help guides, API documentation, and training material

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, FAQs, and API documentation.

· Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to gather and understand technical information.

· Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand documentation for various audiences.

· Edit, standardize, and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.

· Organize and structure documentation for maximum usability and accessibility.

· Utilize various tools and platforms to create and manage documentation (Content Management Software like Madcap Flare or other equivalent Software).

· Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve documentation quality continuously.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is updated in line with product releases.

· Maintain a documentation repository and ensure version control.

· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent writing and grammatical skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text.

· Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.

· Ability to edit and proofread the work of colleagues.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

· Basic understanding of programming languages or software development processes is a plus.

· Knowledge of AI and other Tools to assist with content generation.

· Self-starter mentality.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. · Strong organizational and project management skills is a plus

· Collaboration with multiple teams across different time zones.

Education and Experience:

 · Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering or related field required.

· Three years of related experience required.
