What You’ll Do

As a Technical Writer at Curio Science, you will play a key role in supporting the development of clear, accurate, and engaging content across a variety of Curio Science programs and offerings. Working in close partnership with our Scientific & Strategic staff, you will help bring complex scientific information to life through well-crafted materials that serve healthcare professionals and other target audiences. This role is fully AI-enabled, leveraging AI to drive efficient, elevated client delivery. You will support client satisfaction through high-quality deliverables and contribute to the success of programs like our Opinions Series, Congress Channels, and Local Workshops.

A Day in the Life

     Deliverables

    Support the development of slide decks and summaries across Curio Science programs

    Create supporting materials such as audience polling questions, discussion guides, and other resources to engage healthcare professionals (HCPs) and other target audiences

    Assist in summarizing insights from live and virtual events and contribute to actionable insights reports for external Pharma stakeholders

    Develop materials that are grammatically accurate and audience appropriate, under the guidance of Scientific & Strategic leads

    Leverage AI-enabled tools and workflows to produce content efficiently and at elevated quality standards, ensuring outputs meet Curio Science's standards for accuracy and clarity

    Apply AI capabilities to accelerate deliverable turnaround times and elevate the quality of client-facing content

     Internal Responsibility

    Build strong partnerships with internal working teams

    Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize time to manage duties, communicating proactively when unable to meet timelines

    Work on multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing appropriately

    Collaborate with the team to execute projects and meet deadlines

    Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of Vaniam Group's LLMs by applying writing and editorial expertise to validate and refine AI outputs

     Business Development

    Ensure that work is of the highest quality and instills confidence in clients

    Develop an awareness of how content quality and execution contribute to broader business strategy and client retention

    Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this role.

What You Must Have

     Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree in life sciences, communications, English, journalism, or a related field

    0–2 years of experience in a writing, editorial, or communications role; healthcare, science, or agency experience preferred

Working knowledge of digital tools and comfort learning new platforms and workflows

     Skills and Competencies

    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to grammar, clarity, and audience appropriateness

    Commitment to ethical and transparent data dissemination standards

    Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment

    Strong attention to detail, listening skills, and organizational ability

    Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

    Highly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Teams or similar)

    Proficiency in AI-enabled writing and research tools; demonstrated comfort and effectiveness working within fully AI-integrated workflows

    Curiosity and eagerness to learn about therapeutic areas including oncology, hematology, and rare diseases

What You Might Have, but Isn’t Required

     Familiarity with healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences content from prior work, internship, or academic experience

     Exposure to medical communications agency workflows or content development processes

     Familiarity with reference management software (eg, EndNote) or scientific databases (eg, PubMed)

     Experience with AI writing tools in a professional or academic context

Travel Requirements

Travel within the US and internationally as necessary, based on project, sponsor, and organizational needs (<20% travel expected)
