We’re looking for a Technical Writer to establish and build out Profound’s initial documentation hub. This role will set the standard for how customers learn and succeed with our platform — from onboarding to advanced workflows.
What you’ll doBuild Profound’s first customer-facing documentation hub from the ground up.
Create clear, structured product documentation including core knowledge base articles, onboarding guides, “how-to” articles, FAQs, and troubleshooting flows.
Partner with product managers, engineers, and customer success to capture product knowledge and turn it into accessible documentation.
Develop templates, standards, and style guides for consistent documentation across the company.
Continuously refine docs based on customer feedback and product changes.
Establish processes that allow documentation to scale as Profound grows.
4+ years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, or knowledge base management.
Strong ability to explain complex product workflows in simple, actionable language.
Experience launching documentation hubs or scaling them at high-growth startups.
Familiarity with knowledge base platforms (e.g. GitBook, Mintlify, Docusaurus, ReadMe, Zendesk Guide).
Sharp editorial judgment and attention to detail.
Collaborative approach — able to work directly with product and customer-facing teams to gather information.
Experience in SaaS, analytics, or marketing technology a plus.
Play a foundational role in building documentation for a company redefining how brands succeed in the age of AI.
Work alongside a team from Uber, Datadog, DeepMind, Microsoft, and HubSpot.
Shape the experience for customers adopting a new category of technology.
