Technical Training Support

Provide support regarding employee and contractor Operator Qualification (OQ) training.

• Perform data entry into multiple systems for operator qualification exams and evaluations, Operations technical training, and safety training.
• Coordinate company and contract employee Operator Qualification (OQ) testing schedules with company and/or third-party evaluators for company division operations.
• Produce training and exam reporting from multiple training systems regarding operator qualification, operations technical training, and safety training/meetings.
• Create and/or edit computer-based training (CBT) courses for company divisions. Enroll field operations personnel in operator qualification training courses and exams, operations technical training courses, and safety training courses within computer-based training applications.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
• Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements 

High school diploma required.
This role typically calls for two to four years of relevant experience (Minimum of one-year relevant experience is required). Education can substitute for experience, if applicable (Typically, one year of formal education is equivalent to one and a half to two years of relevant experience).

Experience 

• Experience working within Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience in data entry and computer-based training applications.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT)/Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) regulations, governmental regulations and internal policies and procedures regarding operator qualification (OQ) and field operations training.
• Previous experience with customer service responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
   

Licenses and Certifications 

Applicable Driver's License.

Additional Requirements 

• Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings and job and training sites out of doors.
• Able to operate tools and equipment required.
• Lift and move objects weighing 30 to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Communicate and/or exchange information verbally and conduct oral presentations.
• Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
