Technical Support

The Service Engineer role is required to carry out field-based engineering tasks, break / fix / preventative service works at customer locations, ranging from secure premises, banking facilities, government buildings and retail outlets to commercial properties.  This role will demonstrate exemplary levels of customer service, with a commitment to a first time-fix culture to ensure the customer enjoys the best possible service experience from Gunnebo Entrance Control to encourage potential for enhanced and repeat business. As well as being able to provide effective technical support, Service Engineers need to be flexible and have great customer service and communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and installation of assigned orders according to the requirements of the project manager, 
• Customer service in accordance with the travel plan, 
• Handover of the completed activity to the customer in the form of a handover protocol, or service intervention, 
• Collects and records available information about the customer's installed system in the Apollo system. 
• Provides emergency service according to the service plan. 
• Records substantial experience and technical information found during the performance of work duties in the documentation k 
• Affect customers; he also passes these on to other employees of the Company in a suitable form. 
• Searches and proposes solutions leading to an increase in useful properties and a reduction in the failure rate of installed components. 

• Czech native speaker.
• English at level B1 
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred. 
• At least 2 years of experience in a service technician role. 
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems. 
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
• Effective communication and customer service skills. 
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
