- Quality spare parts for elevators, escalators and automatic building doors
- KONE parts, commercial parts, strategic parts, competitor parts (non-KONE)
- Tools, personal protective equipment (PPE) and working clothes
The role is responsible for managing and coordinating quality feedback related to Global Spares Supply. It ensures effective communication of quality issues, supports root cause analysis, and drives corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers. The position ensures that spares quality feedback is handled consistently, efficiently, and in compliance with defined processes and global quality standards.
4.What will you be doing?- Serve as the global lead for spares quality feedback, ensuring consistent non-conformity handling across regions and suppliers.
- Manage end-to-end quality feedback cases, from issue identification to closure, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Lead defect investigations and root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies (RCA, FMEA).
- Drive supplier corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to minimize recurrence and ensure timely replacement or containment, also monitor response time for quality feedback to minimize FL down-time.
- Ensure accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting of quality feedback in line with defined processes and KPIs.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify systemic risks, cost impacts, and improvement opportunities.
- Support supplier performance management by providing quality insights for reviews, audits, and improvement initiatives.
- Act as a quality advisor to internal stakeholders, promoting best practices and standard ways of working.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance spares quality, supply reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with global quality standards, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, particularly SD and MM modules.
- Solid process knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) and quality tools.
- Strong expertise in quality management and non-conformity handling.
- Advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration skills across global teams.
- Good understanding of supply chain, material, and master data processes.
- Experience with process automation and analytics tools (MS Excel Macros, Power BI, RPA, Python).
- Lean Six Sigma certification and quality improvement tools are an added advantage.
- Supply chain certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
- BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in Quality, Supply Chain Operations, or Quality Feedback.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of independently managing quality feedback topics.
- Comfortable working in a cross-functional, global team environment.
- A collaborative and dynamic work culture focused on development and innovation.
