Role Overview
This Technical Manager position is focused on supporting the Stationary Refrigeration, the Air Comfort businesses (Air Conditioning), and the process cooling (data centers, industrial refrigeration…) in MEAI. This is a hybrid role, offering a blend of remote work flexibility and in-person collaboration.
The person will be responsible for handling the Cooling Applications technical side of the Solstice AM stationary team in MEAI, transitioning the market from high to ultra-low GWP refrigerants.
This position works within the EMEAI technical team, together with customers (OEMs, supermarkets, consultants…), distributors, business development managers, marketing managers, sales representatives, and technology colleagues in the USA and China to drive the conversion and to develop the applications in MEAI of a portfolio of projects and refrigerants aligned with business objectives.
This role is responsible for working closely with all internal and external stakeholders to secure the technical side of the Growth Program initiative and the Key Accounts projects, including securing availability of qualified components, systems, and technologies for our refrigerants in the market.
Being essential to the activity, the Technical Manager needs to participate extensively in the communication initiatives around our products and take a leading role in defending our refrigerants portfolio when needed.
You Must Have
- Thermodynamics Expertise: Deep knowledge of refrigerants, compressors, heat exchangers, and cooling systems.
- Industry Seniority: Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar positions or adjacent activities (e.g., refrigerant manufacturer, refrigeration consultant, OEM).
- Established Network: A developed personal network in the business (components OEMs, supermarkets, distributors, consultants).
- Innovative Drive: Demonstrated taste for discovery, an innovative spirit, and a passion for new fields of growth.
- Language Skills: Fluent English speaker. Knowledge of another MEAI language is a distinct plus.
