At Weatherford, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Support Engineer (TSE) to join our dynamic team. As the TSE, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional support and problem resolution for our products. With an in-depth technical knowledge of our offerings, you will be adept at troubleshooting issues and delivering comprehensive solutions in a timely manner.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive technical expertise in the full range of products

  • Provide outstanding customer support, resolving technical issues with equipment and offering recommendations for optimal operation

  • Troubleshoot tool problems to board level, perform QC of field logs, and provide basic interpretation

  • Act as a liaison between customers and functions, resolving issues and recommending product improvements

  • Deliver remote and on-site product training, as well as on-site product commissioning throughout the region

  • Support New Product Introduction, including well-site field trials and customer training

  • Build strong relationships with key customers, becoming a trusted advisor and suggesting product upgrades or additional solutions

  • Follow all Weatherford procedures, complete accurate reports, and maintain meticulous records

  • Support the Sales and Workshop teams as required, and undertake any other tasks assigned by Weatherford Management

 

Requirements

  • Intimate knowledge of wireline technologies, including pressure control, perforating components, data acquisition systems, and troubleshooting techniques

  • Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting

  • Highly motivated and capable of working independently

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

 

Experience

  • The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of Cased Hole Wireline Logging/Perforating experience, with proficiency in Mono-conductor Cased Hole telemetry systems. Familiarity with Warrior logging systems and Wireline Logging Field Experience in the USA Region is essential, with global experience being a significant advantage.

     

Certifications

  • Valid driver's license

 

Travel Requirement: This role requires domestic and potentially international travel of up to 10-15%
