  • Diagnose and resolve service challenges within your expertise, keeping everything running smoothly and effortlessly.

  • Collaborate with DevOps, SREs, admins, and developers, uniting diverse talents to back the AppSupport team.
  • Maintain a steady flow of communication and support. going by preparing top-notch documentation and staying hands-on with the team’s day-to-day operations.
Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in advanced Linux usage (familiarity with essential commands)
  • Hands-on experience with Git
  • Familiar with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins
  • Skilled in utilizing diagnostic tools within Linux
  • Solid grasp of networking principles and protocols
  • Experience with Docker technology
  • Capability to write clear and readable scripts in Bash and Python
  • Understanding of foundational information security principles
  • Awareness of database concepts
  • Proven experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
  • Experience with monitoring solutions, including Prometheus, Zabbix, Victoria Metrics, and Grafana
  • Familiarity with logging frameworks such as ELK/OpenSearch and the Logstash+Loki stack
  • A strong understanding of the significance of metrics, logs, and alerts
  • Knowledge of orchestrators like Kubernetes and Rancher
  • Comprehension of reliability principles, incident management, IaaC, GitOps, human factors, SL*, the importance of separating configuration from code, and the necessity of testing changes, among others.
