We are seeking this role to provide technical assistance to field teams and support on the lifecycle of elevator, escalator, and building door products. This role combines hands-on technical knowledge with digital tools and data management to drive efficiency, ensure material data quality, and deliver high-quality spare technical solutions across global operations.
4.What will you be doing?- Assist Frontlines with accurate material identification.
- Maintain and manage Material Master Data / Product Data.
- Experienced in new material creations and BOM Management
- Conduct material replacement studies, ensuring functionality, quality, and safety.
- Perform physical material identification against existing material databases.
- Offer spare parts technical support to service technicians and frontline teams.
- Handle Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes for new and existing materials.
- Execute tasks assigned by the Team Leader or Manager effectively.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, PDM/PLM systems, and BOM interpretation
- Familiarity with Elevator, Escalator and Building Door products
- Proficiency in O365, SharePoint, and engineering drawing tools
- Effective communication in English and ability to work independently
- Understanding of supply chain, materials and master data.
- Hands-on design experience with Creo, AutoCAD, ProgeCAD
- Field experience in installation and commissioning
- Experience with VariPDM, Adobe tools, and technical documentation
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience
