This role will require Spanish, read, write speak, Portuguese is a plus but not required.

Candidate will possess working knowledge of PC and mobile hardware architecture as required to assemble a mobile or desktop system from components and update components in already existing systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems as required to install the OS on a new computer, update the OS as required by patches or changes in the hardware configuration, troubleshoot functional and performance problems. Preferred working knowledge and experience with hardware and software testing/validation.

Minimum qualifications

  • Requires fluent writing and speaking skills in Spanish.
  • 1+ year of experience in customer care/customer support in the following areas:
  • Operating Systems such as UNIX, Linux and Windows Understanding of Firewalls.
  • Intrusion detection system IDS.
  • Intrusion prevention systems IPS.
  • Basic level knowledge of security and information gathering tools like nmap, nessus, nslookup, traceroute, hping, wireshark, tcpdump, netcat, netstat, nbtstat, ete.
  • Working knowledge with MS SQL, Routing protocols TCP / IP, OSPF etc., HTML, ATM, Token Ring, ISDN, and Ethernet.

Preferred qualifications

  • In addition to Spanish, Portuguese would be a strong plus.
  • Basic experience with programming/scripting PERL, JAVA, C, C++, SQL and DB2.
  • Basic Vulnerability and Threat analysis skills.
  • Network or security related certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CCNP.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize job requirements.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate at multiple levels with customers i.e. technical / management.
  • Excellent at providing positive customer service.
  • Advanced writing and verbal skills.
  • Ability to support multiple products simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated takes initiative.
