Technical Staff, Product Backend - SF

Role Overview:

As a member of the technical staff focused on product at Reflection, you will be instrumental in developing the backend for our reflection-api alpha product. This role involves close collaboration with enterprise customers to seamlessly integrate our API with their existing CI/CD pipelines and source control solutions. Your work will directly impact the usability and scalability of our platform, helping deliver a best-in-class experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the backend of the product using Python and Golang.

• Deploy and manage scalable, reliable cloud-hosted solutions leveraging Kubernetes and other modern infrastructure tools.

• Collaborate with enterprise customers to understand their needs and ensure seamless integration of our API with their CI/CD and source control workflows.

• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues to maintain high availability and performance.

• Work closely with the product and research teams to align backend functionality with product goals and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on cloud hosting and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in Python and/or Golang.

• Experience deploying and managing scalable solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, source control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab), and enterprise integration practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in startups and scaleups.

• Familiarity with building APIs for enterprise customers.

• Knowledge of containerization, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

  Compensation:
  The base salary range for this role is $225,000 to $300,000, depending on experience, skill level, and interview performance. This role also includes a competitive equity package. Final compensation will be discussed and determined as part of the interview process.
