The Technical Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to MicroE customers to drive sales growth by supporting solution positioning, product installation, and performance optimization. This role works closely with Sales and cross‑functional teams to address customer technical challenges, conduct root cause analysis, and deliver data‑driven recommendations that enable successful closure of sales opportunities.
This position reports to the SLS Manager and is part of the Scientific Laboratory (SLS) located in Hsinchu, Taiwan and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide technical support to MicroE customers to drive filter sales growth, working closely with the Sales team to support customer engagement and solution positioning.
- Present technical data, conduct product and application presentations, and generate supporting materials to enable closure of sales opportunities.
- Perform engineering support activities including installation, retrofit, and commissioning of Pall filtration products at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot filter performance issues by conducting structured root cause analysis, developing test plans, and delivering clear technical reports with conclusions.
- Act as the technical interface between customers and internal teams (Sales, Engineering, QA, Marketing) to address customer needs and feedback (VoC).
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience in the semiconductor OEM industry, with exposure to advanced semiconductor processes.
- Strong understanding of filter configurations, OEM tools, and the ability to integrate Pall products into customer systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in English (in addition to local language), with excellent technical communication and report‑writing capabilities.
