Gumloop is the AI automation platform for the enterprise. We give teams the power to easily build and deploy AI agents, in Slack, Microsoft Teams, or standalone, that automate real work across hundreds of integrations with no engineering background required. The platform has three pillars:
1. Agents — Conversational AI assistants that use tools (integrations, workflows, code sandbox, MCP servers) to accomplish open-ended tasks. Unlike workflows that follow fixed paths, agents decide which tools to use and when, adapting based on context. Users configure agents with a system prompt, a model, and a set of tools. Agents can be deployed to a chat UI, Slack, or Microsoft Teams, and can run autonomously via scheduled or event-based triggers.
2. Workflows — Visual, drag-and-drop automations composed of connected nodes on a canvas. Each node is a discrete operation (call an API, run AI, read a spreadsheet, send an email). Workflows are deterministic and repeatable. They can be triggered manually, on a schedule, via webhook, or by external events (new email, Slack message, etc.). Workflows can also be attached to agents as callable tools — the agent orchestrates, the workflow executes.
3. Gumstack — Enterprise-grade MCP hosting, observability, and AI governance. Organizations provision managed MCP servers, control which AI models are available, audit every tool call, and enforce security policies across all agents and workflows.
We're moving fast. Teams at Gusto, Ramp, Shopify, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor are already building and deploying AI agents on Gumloop to automate real work across their organizations. That's not a demo. That's production.
We've raised $70M from Benchmark, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Nexus Ventures, Shopify Ventures, BoxGroup, and The Cannon Project to build a world class team.
Role Overview
We're hiring a full life cycle recruiter to own the top of our recruiting funnel as we scale the engineering, research, and product teams building Gumloop. You'll be the first person candidates meet and the engine that keeps our pipelines full of exceptional talent. This role is for someone who loves the hunt and wants to shape a sourcing function from the ground up at a company that is already shipping to the world's best teams.
Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand their needs, help shape role requirements, and build a shared vision for what great looks like before a search begins
Own the full recruiting lifecycle for your assigned business unit, from crafting compelling job postings and managing inbound pipelines to proactive outreach for hard-to-find talent
Source creatively across both active and passive channels, bringing candidates to the table that would not have found us on their own
Partnership with hiring managers across the company. You translate fuzzy ideas into a hiring plan, calibrate must-haves vs. nice-to-haves, and push back when scope is wrong.
Drive offers and closings with a candidate experience that leaves people feeling genuinely excited about Gumloop, regardless of the outcome
You set the bar for data hygiene, pipeline reporting, and stage discipline
Help build the recruiting function itself, identifying gaps in our process, proposing solutions, and laying the groundwork for how we hire as we scale
4+ years of experience of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally across a mix of company stages and role types
Sourcing is genuinely how you think. You are comfortable opening a brand new search with no existing pipeline and figuring out where the talent is
A natural communicator who can build trust quickly with candidates and hiring managers alike, in writing and in person
Comfortable being in the office five days a week
Comfort with ambiguity, high ownership, and the pace of an early-stage company
Prior experience working in-house at an early-stage startup
A track record of hiring across both engineering and business functions
Experience leveraging AI tools to work smarter, whether that is accelerating sourcing, improving outreach quality, or streamlining parts of the process that used to eat up time
Familiarity with modern recruiting tools like Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter
Highly competitive salary and meaningful equity
Generous paid time off: 24 days, use them as you need
$350/month wellness benefit to spend on gym, spa, equipment, or whatever keeps you at your best
15 days of temporary remote work flexibility per year
401k match up to 6%
