The Work
- Infrastructure & Systems Support
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and support servers, networks, cloud services, end-user devices, and identity/access systems.
- Monitor system performance, security, and uptime for business and manufacturing operations.
- Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues impacting production or business continuity.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Application Development & Automation
- Develop scripts, lightweight applications, and integrations using Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Build and maintain low-code/no-code automations (Power Automate, Quickbase, etc.) to streamline workflows and eliminate manual work.
- Create and maintain documentation for automations, integrations, and applications.
- Ensure all solutions are secure, maintainable, scalable, and aligned with IT standards.
- Business Process Analysis & Improvement
- Analyze and document business and manufacturing workflows to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and project deliverables.
- Support change management, training, and rollout of new processes, tools, and automations.
- Maintain accurate records of requirements, system changes, and solution impacts.
- Manufacturing Systems & Operational Support
- Provide technical support for MES, work instruction systems, production data collection tools, and related shop-floor applications.
- Troubleshoot system issues impacting manufacturing throughput, quality, or data accuracy.
- Assist with system configuration, data extraction, reporting, and integration between operational systems.
- Travel to Systel facilities or vendor locations as required to support operations, training, or implementation activities.
- US Citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of scripting/programming languages including Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of low-code platforms (Power Automate, Quickbase, Zapier, etc.).
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure including networking, DNS, identity management, servers, virtualization, and cloud environments such as Microsoft 365/Azure.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, APIs, integrations, and data transformation.
- Knowledge of MES, ERP, and other manufacturing systems is preferred.
