About the Job: The Technical Solutions Developer supports the development, integration, and optimization of Barnhart’s Learning Management System (MyBarnhart). This position focuses on creating and maintaining technical solutions that enhance training delivery, reporting capabilities, and user experience.
Position Location: This role is based at the Memphis, TN Training Office. The Technical Solutions Developer primarily involves working in an office setting, with occasional travel to branch locations for training delivery and system support.
Description:
- Assist in developing and implementing technical solutions for MyBarnhart applications, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the LMS functionality and system design.
- Utilize proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and general coding to develop and maintain LMS tools and features.
- Work under the direction of the LMS Administrator to support IFS/LMS integrations and assist in creating tools for new application development.
- Collaborate with IT and key stakeholders to sandbox, test, and implement new solutions that improve system performance and user experience.
- Support the management and development of the MyBarnhart database infrastructure, including integrations with AWS, Power BI, Excel, and IFS.
- Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making and training performance metrics.
- Maintain documentation of development processes, system configurations, and integration points.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for MyBarnhart users as needed.

Qualifications:
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and general programming languages required.
- Familiarity with AWS development, Power BI, and Excel (advanced functions, Power Query) preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with an aptitude for system troubleshooting and optimization.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across departments and technical teams.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn new technologies and improve existing processes.
