ECS is seeking a Technical SETA to work in our Arlington, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.
ECS seeks a Technical Science, Engineering, and Technical Advisory (SETA) candidate(s) to provide onsite support to DARPA's Strategic Technology Office (STO). The selected candidate(s) will aid in the management and development of programs in high-risk, high-reward research and development (R&D) projects. The candidate is expected to function as part of a strongly collaborative scientific and technical team, but also to act independently to complete time-critical tasks. The candidate must be comfortable in working at security levels across the spectrum from unclassified open discussion potentially with foreign nationals to collateral classified programs with validated higher levels of need-to-know.
Tasks include scientific and technical analysis, development of broadly understandable explanatory documentation for deeply technical programs, monitoring of ongoing research and development programs, and reporting to office leadership. This position includes identifying national security challenges and participating in the development of portfolio-level strategies to address them.
