Job Description Summary

Global Technology Service group, a team of dedicated IT consultants, project managers and business analysts that support our client technology solutions through best-in-class software systems utilizing a service delivery model to deliver value within a clear, consistent, and measurable framework. Additionally, we provide assessment, technology roadmap, transition, and integration services as well as a continuous improvement-based support model to ensure an ongoing technology investment for the duration of our client relationships.
In support of Global Occupier Services, our team provides business development support including solution definition, pricing, technology demonstration and delivery for Strategy and Portfolio Administration Services, Transaction & Project Management Transaction, Facilities (IFM), Space & Occupancy, and Financial Management.
This is a full-time position and will be a Global location.

Job Description

The role of Technical Services Specialist includes the following key responsibilities:

Automation & Database Management:

Understand the underlying data structure of an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations). Create Technical Specification (design) documents for functional requirements. Manage existing and create new automations using Alteryx/Python/SSIS (User data, role review, critical date reports, financial reports, etc.).

BI and Data Analytics:

Create reports and dashboards in Power BI. Build data models and create measures in DAX occasionally. Analyse performance of Power BI reports and SQL queries/views Be part of a BI Strategy development and Implementation BI Business Modelling Tasks Provide Support for already existing BI solutions. Conduct root cause analysis on code level in Visual Studio by understanding views and relationships between tables. Maintain existing BI solutions (embedded Power BI reports on cloud and on-prem).

Solution Implementation Assembly Management activities to ensure successful client delivery including:

Data Migration and validation activities including mapping, configuration and acceptance testing of new system setup using ETL templates and other data import / export toolsets Integration and documentation management including data mapping, workflow management, file specification development and documentation and acceptance testing Automation development and documentation management, included data mapping, workflow management, file specification development and documentation and acceptance testing Report development to support ad hoc reporting, KPI reporting across service lines in support of client deliverables. Facilitate user review and acceptance of application configuration and performance Provide training and implementation user support during delivery activities

Maintain competency in GOS Technology client applications for consulting, implementation, and demonstration capabilities

Contribute to the GOS Technology team knowledgebase with best practices, lessons learned, concept and solutions documents and ServiceNow Ability to leverage client applications for demonstration, data modelling and process development with the client implementation team Provide secondary support to the Delivery Management team for consistency across transitioning client base.

Knowledge & Skills

Software use or management knowledge in one or more of the following Commercial Real Estate and/or IWMS software technologies is a plus:

Technical and Functional Requirements

Technical fluency required with the following:

  • 3-4+ years of experience in designing, building, and testing DW and BI solutions.
  • Solid experience in business data analytics.
  • Experience in working with ERP or Designing one is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Modern Data Warehouse concepts, ETL/ELT
  • Experience in SQL Queries and Views (Microsoft T-SQL, SSAS, SSRS)
  • Experience in Alteryx - data science and analytics automation platform
  • Must be able to maintain and write python scripts
  • Knowledge of Business Analysis
  • Willingness to understand Microsoft Dynamics environment
  • Knowledge on MS BI tools (Power BI)
  • some understanding of C# and .NET; and experience on working with Visual Studio is an advantage
  • have any of the following Microsoft exams is an advantage: DA-100, DP-900 or DP-203
  • Project Management Methodologies
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations / Software Development Lifecycle Management (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of Network & Telecommunications Management
  • Must be able to use laptop, Mobile Device, and wireless technologies
  • Analytical approach and way of thinking, care about consequences of his/her actions
  • Excellent command of English in both Speaking and Written.
  • Good Communication skills in spoken and written

Specific Credentials or Work Experience Requirements

  • BA in an IT related major
  • Knowledge of service order, contract, supplier management, procurement, and/or accounting practices to aid in the identification, management, and resolution of technology problems for effective client service delivery.
  • Project Management skills to design and manage complex solutions and delivery to clients.
