We’re looking for well-rounded, motivated students to join us for a 10-week paid internship where you’ll gain hands-on experience, build your professional network, and develop valuable skills in a dynamic business environment.

What You’ll Experience

As a Technical Services intern at FHLBank, you’ll:

  • Assist with imaging and configuration of devices
  • Support software and application deployments
  • Provide end-user technical support
  • Complete new hire setup tasks
  • Decommission hardware and related assets
  • Participate in device refresh cycles
  • Assist with vulnerability management
  • Apply strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate across teams and present analytical results effectively
  • Contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study
  • Gain exposure to the finance and banking industry
  • Participate in team-building activities, a group project, a community service event, and professional development sessions (including dining etiquette!)

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking students who:

  • Have completed at least their sophomore year of undergraduate studies. Graduate students encouraged to apply!
  • Are majoring in System Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study
  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Work well independently and in team settings
  • Are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to solve problems

Program Highlights

  • 10-week paid internship: Monday, June 1 to Friday, August 7
