Job Summary:
The Technical Services Analyst 1 is responsible for providing technical expertise and professional support in the areas of reporting, maintenance, procedures, auditing, and training related to the lifecycle management of End User Technology equipment. The position does not include supervisory responsibilities and is structured as a hybrid role that reports to the Madison, WI headquarters, requiring onsite presence at the Madison campus two to three days per week.
Job Purpose:
This position, under the direction of Technical Services Management and the Technical Services Analyst II, develop specifications for complex software applications; install, test, maintain and modify complex software packages relative to TruStage computer systems. Responsible for working on and taking applicable corrective action in most phases of software analysis, problem, and performance analysis. Must be available to work any shift, weekends or holidays as the situation dictates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, test, implement, maintain, monitor TruStage computer systems software and products.
- Direct activities of Technical Services Specialist I & II within the assigned areas of specialization for:
- Installation and maintenance of TruStage computer systems software packages and products.
- Maintenance of technical assistance and support to customers, including problem determination and resolution, relative to TruStage computer systems software packages.
- Research and recommend new computer system software products as well as modification to existing products. Assist management in decisions pertaining to performance of these products.
- Prepare detailed documentation for all functions performed including problem/change management.

Job Requirements:
- BS in MIS or CS or equivalent trade-off in related education and related professional work experience.
- 3 years’ work experience as a Tech Services Spec II or equivalent trade-off in related professional work experience with demonstrated achievement and progressive responsibilities.
- Demonstrated superior working knowledge of product installation/customization and current information technology concepts including a high level of proficiency demonstrated in a business environment within the last 3 years in at least 2 of the following:
- Mainframe, Midrange, Windows Systems
- Storage Management Tools
- Source Code Management Tools
- Mainframe, Midrange, Windows Performance Monitoring Packages
- Change/Management Products
- System Automation Tools
- Application Development Products
- Object Oriented application design
- Object Oriented database design,
- VB and/or VB.Net,
- ASP and/or ASP.Net,
- Web Services,
- XML/XSLT
- Image Technologies - Solution development and support
- Document Assembly Technologies - Solution development and support
- Office Automation Tools
- Database Design & Administration
- Voice/Unified Communications
- Demonstrated proficiency within the last 3 years in at least 4 of the following information technology concepts:
- Infrastructure Technology Lifecycle
- Infrastructure Technology Information Library (ITIL)
- Problem Resolution
- Vendor Packages within CMG Architecture
- Networking
- Messaging Systems
- Desktop and Server Platforms
- Relational Database Management Systems
- Voice Connectivity / SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)

Base Salary Range:
$85,400.00 - $149,449.00
