About the role

  • We’re looking for an experienced Technical SEO Manager to take ownership of the technical performance and search visibility of our web properties across multiple iGaming and affiliate markets. As a Technical SEO Manager, you’ll own the technical performance of your assigned brand group,  ensuring every site is fast, crawlable, and search-optimized. You’ll lead technical audits, build scalable monitoring systems, and work hand-in-hand with our engineering and product teams to future-proof SEO implementation across Paradise Media’s growing network. This is a hands-on, high-impact role, perfect for professionals who want both autonomy and collaboration within a rapidly expanding digital organization.

This role is to be based in Malta (hybrid) or remote within other European countries.


Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the technical SEO roadmap for your assigned domain group, including crawl optimization, indexation management, and site architecture improvements.
  • Conduct and prioritize SEO audits, resolving issues with engineering and product teams.
  • Develop monitoring frameworks to automatically flag issues such as broken links, redirect chains, or indexation drops.
  • Partner with developers to ensure SEO-safe releases, migrations, and deployments.
  • Analyze and improve site performance metrics and Core Web Vitals using both RUM and lab data.
  • Implement and maintain Hreflang, canonicalization, and international SEO setups across global sites.
  • Contribute to internal SEO tools and automation projects to increase efficiency across the SEO department.
  • Mentor SEO specialists, providing guidance on technical troubleshooting and scalable processes.
  • Stay up to date with search engine updates and emerging technologies, applying them across your portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical SEO (preferably within the iGaming sector).
  • Experience managing a team of SEO professionals.
  • Fluency in modern web languages (HTML, CSS, JS and SQL/GraphQL).
  • Confidence when working with technical stakeholders to solve technical problems.
  • Confidence in crawling websites and the ability to use advanced Xpath and REGEX to collect additional data.
  • An understanding of APIs that are associated with crawling domains (e.g. Page Speed, Google Search Console and Link Metric Tools).
  • Understanding of how to work with scheduling applications such as Task Scheduler or Cron jobs.
  • Weathered experience of HREFLang and Dynamic serving.
