Technical Sales Support Manager__
We are looking for a Technical Sales Support Specialist to join and strengthen our team at Smart Power division. The role can be located in either Vaasa, Pirkkala or Helsinki. In this role you will provide technical support towards our Smart Power division sales and clients in Finland. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of tasks from supporting sales and clients with technical questions to being involved in organizing customer trainings. The role requires travelling for approx. 30 days per year. We have a hybrid working model. This is a family leave cover fixed-term contract lasting until end of 2027.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Aiding and supporting customers and sales in tasks related to technical support as well supporting in finding optimal solutions to meet customers’ needs
- Maintaining and developing communication towards global technical sales support teams
- Developing and organizing customer trainings
- Using your knowledge of customer needs to provide effective solutions to customers’ needs based on ABB’s solutions
Qualifications for the role
- More than 2 years of work experience in the electrical branch, along with work experience in technical support
- A suitable technical education, for example B.Sc or M.Sc degree
- Excellent knowledge in written and spoken Finnish language, as you will work closely with our local customers
- Fluent written and spoken English language
- Know-how of key customer segments, i.e wholesalers, specifiers and installers
- Know-how within product offering of ABB Electrification business area
eg. Breakers, Switches and Fusegear - A collaborative, solution-focused way of working
- Ability to comfortably work both independently and as part of a team
- Earlier experience within training or electrical installations are an advantage in the role
