Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the Marine & Ports division in Finland, reporting to EUOPC - Bid & proposal manager.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Provide technical pre-sales support and product expertise to customers and sales teams
Respond to technical inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to ABB Marine Systems products and solutions
Prepare technical quotations, specifications, and solution proposals for customer projects
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to support product customization and implementation
Maintain knowledge of current ABB Marine Systems product portfolio and industry standards
Document technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes
Support customer training sessions and provide technical documentation
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and responsive communication
Qualifications for the role
A strong technical/electrical background, bachelor degree in electrical engineering as minimum
2+ years of experience in technical sales support, applications engineering
A passion for technology and a technical mindset.
The ability to work independently and take initiative.
A keen interest in continuous learning and professional growth.
Proficiency in navigating technical documentation in the electrical field (a plus).
Excellent communication skills.
Fluency in English (B2 level and above).
Proficiency in MS Office tools.
A responsible and diligent approach to work.
