Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to support our Construction business within the Barcelona Inside Sales Hub, with a primary focus on Northern European markets.
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will partner with the Inside Sales organization to drive revenue growth by leveraging your industry expertise and technical knowledge of Autodesk solutions. You will engage with customers to understand their business challenges, demonstrate the value of Autodesk technology, and help guide their digital transformation journey.
In this customer-facing role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to both customers and internal sales teams, delivering compelling solution demonstrations, supporting sales opportunities, and contributing to market awareness and demand generation activities.
Responsibilities
Partner with Inside Sales Representatives to support and advance sales opportunities throughout the sales cycle
Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer business objectives, workflows, and challenges
Identify customer pain points and recommend Autodesk solutions that align with business outcomes
Deliver engaging product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to prospective customers
Support strategic account planning and identify opportunities for expansion within existing and prospective accounts
Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Create and maintain technical assets, including presentations, videos, datasets, and demonstration environments to support sales and marketing initiatives
Deliver webinars and virtual events in support of marketing campaigns and customer engagement activities
Collaborate with the broader Technical Sales organization to support regional sales initiatives and opportunities
Provide technical guidance and pre-sales support to Inside Sales teams
Support reseller and customer enablement activities, including training and knowledge-sharing sessions when required
Communicate customer feedback and market requirements to Autodesk product and business teams
Act as a product evangelist by promoting Autodesk solutions and industry best practices through customer interactions, events, and digital channels
Minimum Qualifications
Experience using one or more of the following Autodesk solutions:
Revit
AutoCAD
Civil 3D
Navisworks
Autodesk Forma
Autodesk Build
Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows and construction industry practices
Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience working collaboratively across sales, marketing, customer success, and technical teams
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe and internationally, as required
Fluency in English and at least one more European Language (for example German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish or any other European language)
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or equivalent experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Building Design, or a related discipline
Experience in Technical Sales, Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, or a similar customer-facing technical role
Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud and related Autodesk solutions

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Spain based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between 45,375 EUR and 66,550 EUR. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Sales Careers
