Key Responsibilities
- Consultative Selling: You aren't just pushing products; you are helping customers find the "optimal solution" for automation, which requires deep listening and problem-solving.
- Lead & Pipeline Management: You will handle the entire funnel—from qualifying inbound leads and hunting outbound targets to closing deals and forecasting future revenue.
- Technical Design Collaboration: A unique part of this role is using Vention’s proprietary tools (MachineBuilder). You will work alongside Application Engineers to turn a concept into a simulated, functional machine design.
- Strategic Growth: You will act as a bridge to leadership, providing feedback from the field to help refine sales strategies and ensure the company hits its monthly and quarterly targets.
Your Profile
- Sales Proficiency: expertise in Discovery Calls, qualification frameworks (like MEDDIC or BANT), and closing techniques.
- Technical Aptitude: comfort with production environments and the ability to understand mechanical or electrical automation requirements.
- Collaboration: navigating the hand-off between sales and engineering to ensure the customer gets a viable solution.
- Accountability: consistent CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, and a "quota-carrying" mindset.
- Fluent in German and English; additional European languages are assets.
- A builder and operator who combines strategy with hands-on execution—capable of scaling fast while maintaining excellence.

Skills Required
- Proven consultative sales skills including discovery calls and closing techniques
- Experience with qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC or BANT)
- Technical aptitude with mechanical or electrical automation in production environments
- Experience managing full sales funnel, forecasting, and maintaining CRM hygiene
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering/Application Engineers
- Fluent in German and English
