Our expertise in cultures, enzymes, and bioscience solutions supports the production of cheese, yogurt, and a wide range of dairy and beverage products worldwide.
We are now looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our Dairy Biosciences team. This role combines strong technical expertise with customer-focused commercial execution in a dynamic and growing industry.
Where You’ll Make a Difference
  • Develop and grow Dairy Biosciences business within the fresh fermented and cheese segments in Ireland
  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships with key dairy customers and prospective accounts
  • Act as the first-choice technical and commercial partner for cultures and dairy enzyme solutions
  • Drive customer projects by delivering tailored technical and commercial recommendations
  • Identify new market trends and business opportunities and convert them into sustainable growth
  • Manage opportunities and pipelines accurately within Salesforce.com
  • Represent IFF at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (R&D, Applications, Product Management, Marketing, Operations)
  • Execute sales strategies aligned with H&B and Dairy Biosciences Business Unit objectives
What Makes You the Right Fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related field (business degree a plus)
  • Solid hands-on experience in dairy technology, especially fresh fermented products and cheese
  • Strong understanding of dairy cultures and enzymes (considered a significant advantage)
  • Proven ability to manage projects and take full ownership of new business opportunities
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English and a valid category B driving license
  • Willingness to travel regularly for customer and internal engagements
