Lithos Energy designs and builds advanced lithium-ion battery packs from the ground up for use in high-performance automotive, marine and aerospace applications. We build the things we design and manufacture in-house, in California. Overview

The Technical Sales Manager will lead sales initiatives, overseeing the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure. This role demands expertise in battery technology at the pack level, or experience working with technical hardware, strong negotiation skills for supply contracts, and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships to drive sales growth. You will work closely with sales and technical teams to match our product offerings with customer needs, effectively positioning our technology to exceed sales targets. You will use your technical knowledge to translate complex tchnical features into significant benefits for our customers. Additionally, you must be able to think on your feet, devising custom, technically feasible, and executable solutions that cater to unique client requirements.

Responsibilities 
  • Create and implement targeted sales outreach and lead initiatives to expand market reach.
  • Ability to map out and contact key decision makers within companies.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Work with Engineering teams to both understand and communicate technology and benefits
  • Qualify inbound leads by understanding customer’s needs.
  • Help build timelines to determine alignment with Lithos product offerings and capabilities
  • Maintain client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Qualifications 
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development in a technical industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Track record of success in winning / closing new sales.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet/exceed sales targets
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software, as well as Microsoft Office, Hubspot, linkedin, and other sales-related software

150-185K + commission / OTE up to 240K + equity.
