Currently we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager, SEA in UPM Specialty Papers. The position is based in Singapore.

What you will do
- Proactively provide technical competence in resolving performance issues for customers. Develop and maintain claims handling procedures.
- Work closely with local sales and customer service team to create business value by enhancing product performance and service offering. Develop support solutions to meet customer’s quality and development needs.
- Promote UPM Technical Consultancy. Provide input for product and business intelligence by monitoring industry and product trends, keeping abreast of technological developments.
- Represent UPM at customer print and converting sites and developing multi-level contacts to support sales. Develop network across printing, labelling and packaging industry. Attend trade shows, conferences, and related events.
- Develop strong links within all internal functions and interact with mills in Europe and Asia.
- Collaborate closely with UPM Global Technical Network.
- Assume sales responsibilities as required to meet business needs.
Who you are?
- You have a university degree in a relevant field. Experience and knowledge of printing, label and packaging papers will be an advantage.
- You can deal directly with local customers as well as large MNCs and across cultures and regions.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English, have good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- You are a team player and committed to achieving results.
- You have regional experience in Southeast Asian markets and a willingness to travel.
