This position is responsible to develop the casting elastomers business across ASEAN region (including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Philippines), and implement the sales and marketing strategies to ensure sustainable growth of the elastomers portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales targets are achieved for Specialty Cast Polyurethane (SCPU) and Vulkollan products.

  • Develop new distributors and new business opportunities in emerging markets such as Vietnam and Indonesia.

  • Support and guide distributors to successfully promote Covestro products and grow the business.

  • Identify and analyze market and customer needs, select suitable products within the comprehensive product portfolio and recommend solutions that best fit customer applications.

  • Provide technical service and certain level trouble shooting with support from technical experts.

  • Act as the first contact for customers and actively collaborate with cross-functional teams including Application Development, Machine, Product Management and Supply Chain.

  • Collect market intelligence, including competitive situation and key market trends that may present opportunities or hinder business growth.

  • Develop and implement local marketing strategies, including promotional and advertising programs.

  • Provide timely and effective reports such as visit reports, project updates in C4C, and marketing reports. Ensure monthly forecasts are communicated clearly.

Qualification Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher; majors in Chemical or Polymer preferred.

  • Experience: Over 8 years of technical service or technical sales experience in the polyurethane market preferred. Recognized technical expertise in the polyurethane industry is an advantage.

  • Strong command of English in both written and spoken communication; Chinese language ability is a plus.

  • Self-motivated with a positive mindset.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a complex, international environment.

  • A team player with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

  • Willingness to travel frequently.
