About the Role
We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented Technical Sales Engineer who enjoys working close to the product and supporting both internal teams and customers. This role focuses on hands-on portfolio management, documentation, sales support, and portfolio growth. You will maintain the sensor portfolio, manage datasheets, assist with quotations, and help identify new applications for our products.
While this position is intended as a Technical Sales Engineer role, we encourage you to find opportunities to grow yourself and your portfolio over time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Overview & Maintenance
- Maintain an up-to-date overview of piezoelectric pressure sensors and corresponding accessories, including application areas and product versions.
- Compare, document, and communicate differences across product families.
2. Datasheet & Documentation Management
- Own and update all sensor datasheets.
- Validate key technical parameters (pressure range, overload capability, accuracy, etc.).
- Draft clear product descriptions tailored to each sensor.
- Maintain and update sensor accessory documentation, ensuring correct branding and logo use.
3. Sales Support & Quotation
- Support the sales team with product information, technical details, and application guidance.
- Prepare and manage quotations for sensors and accessories.
- Monitor lead times and availability to ensure reliable delivery to customers.
4. Stock & Delivery Monitoring
- Define and regularly review safety stock levels for sensors and accessories.
- Identify cases where additional components or assemblies should be stocked.
5. Product Information & Training Materials
- Create presentations and materials highlighting sensor features, benefits, and correct usage.
- Develop accessory guides and internal reference documents.
6. Portfolio Evaluation & New Applications
- Assess whether the product portfolio is complete and aligned with customer needs.
- Keep an eye on potential new applications for sensors and accessories.
- Suggest portfolio improvements or expansion opportunities based on market or customer feedback.

Education & Experience:
- Technical education (HTL, FH, or university (BsC).
- First experience with industrial products, product management, or sales support is an advantage.
