ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Develop and implement sales strategies for testing solutions in the field of substation automation systems, SAS, and SCADA.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to actively drive revenue growth in the Asia region.
Conduct market analyses and forecasts, and contribute to the strategic development of the SAS/SCADA market segment.
Support lead generation, develop new customer relationships, and maintain existing accounts, including proper documentation in the CRM system.
Work closely with sales, product management, marketing, and technical teams to position solutions effectively in the market.
Represent the company at trade fairs, seminars, conferences, and customer events.
Deliver convincing on-site product presentations, demonstrations, and solution discussions with customers.
What We Are Looking For
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, power systems, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience in power systems, substation automation, or SCADA applications may also be considered.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience in technical sales, business development, application engineering, power automation, or a customer-facing technical role.
- Solid knowledge of substation automation, SAS/SCADA systems, and ideally relevant industry or international communication standards such as IEC 61850.
- Able to explain technical products and solutions clearly to different target groups, from engineers to decision-makers.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Enjoy combining your enthusiasm for technology with customer interaction and business development.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, preferably Cantonese and/or Mandarin, with the ability to communicate and negotiate confidently in a professional environment.
- Other Asian language skills are an advantage.
- Professional customer-facing presence and a strong customer-oriented mindset.
- Willing to travel within the Asia region, up to approximately 50%.
