Job Description:

Technical Sales Engineer Intern  

Monolithic Power Systems, an industry leading power semiconductor company, has been experiencing explosive growth due to our technology, solutions and, most importantly, our team.

             

We are actively seeking sharp, knowledge thirsty engineering students who are interested in focusing on power. Power is used in every electrical/electronic system, so the need is there and growing. Join an established and rapidly growing segment of electronics.

Our paid TSE interns will learn about the company, business, products, technology and team. The intern will be engaged with the Sales & Field Applications team supporting top customers with some of the best power technology in the industry while getting hands-on experience with guidance from experienced Sales and Engineering team members and the opportunity to present your findings to company leadership.

Primary functions:

  • Assist MPSNow Sales Team in driving all design-in activity and wins within assigned customer accounts and geographies. 
  • Assist MPSNow Sales Team in tracking and measuring design and revenue at target customers.
  • Work closely with MPS product division marketing and engineering personnel to identify target applications/circuits to increase design wins and expand print at both new and existing customers.
  • Identify new customer targets to engage and expand the MPS customer base
  • Assist in research and vetting for new customer set-up in CRM
  • Assist is assigning tickets from web, distributor, and rep inquires to the appropriate MPS resource

  • Ability to interface with MPS staff to learn, measure and track key business strategies, revenue targets within MPSNow assigned accounts. 
  • Strong presentation skills to all levels of personnel (both customer and MPS internal divisions / executives.)
  • Working knowledge of office tools such as Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Teams and ZOOM.

  • Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelors in an Engineering Discipline
  • Graduation date within 12 months from time of internship completion

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The hourly pay range for this position in California is $37.00/hr - $40.00/hr
