Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) is looking for a Technical Sales & Business Development Manager - Mooring
Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge in technical sales and business development? We’re looking for a Technical Sales & Business Development Manager – Mooring to drive sales growth and maximize profitability in our mooring solutions portfolio.
In this role, you’ll actively hunt for new business, identify fresh sales opportunities, and align customer needs with our mooring solutions. You’ll develop and execute strategic plans, activities, and tactics to fuel growth while leveraging your technical expertise to showcase how our products create real value for customers.
You’ll be at the forefront of the technical sales process—handling advanced technical questions, highlighting key selling points, and confidently closing deals. If you thrive on building relationships, solving challenges, and driving business success, we’d love to hear from you!
What you will be doing:

Drive and grow profitable sales by building strong relationships with new and existing customers.

Identify target clients, execute face-to-face meetings, and lead a best-practice approach to selling

Use your technical expertise to lead impactful sales activities, focusing on the most promising opportunities and customers.

Keep CRM data current to accurately reflect opportunities and sales progression.

Act as a technical leader on ropes, setting the standard in knowledge and customer-facing expertise.

Work with product management to provide performance insights and recommend product improvements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop impactful sales materials and present WSS products at industry events.

Embody a "can-do" attitude, inspiring the sales team to pursue growth and close deals confidently.
What you need to be successful in this role:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent marine qualification preferred.

International sales experience in technical sales
-
Experience negotiating with customers
-
Ability to work independently by planning and organizing your own work

Ambitious and a strong desire for success with a commercial mindset
-
IT literate/digital savviness, with experience from working with excel, MS office, CRM systems etc.

Proven communication skills and a good command of the English language (verbal and written)
